Today Is the Day: Releasing She Reached Anyway

Today, She Reached Anyway is officially live.

Even writing that sentence feels surreal.

This time last year, I was in a very different place. I was increasingly becoming weak and sick, and I had no answers as to why. I remember feeling confused, frustrated, and desperately wanting healing while trying to understand what was happening with my own body. There were moments where I felt dismissed and uncertain about what the future would look like.

I was clinging tightly to healing while also trying to cling tightly to faith.

Then, something changed.

When I was finally listened to and finally began receiving answers, God began placing something unexpected on my heart. Little by little, She Reached Anyway began unfolding.

What started as reflections on the woman in Mark 5 slowly became something more personal. Her story of reaching for Jesus through suffering and uncertainty began connecting with my own story in ways I never expected.

This book became more than words on a page. It became part of my own healing journey.

As launch day approached, I found myself feeling a strange mix of emotions: excitement, gratitude, anticipation, and if I’m being honest, some nervousness too.

I think some of those nerves come from stepping into something I have never done before. Deep down, I know writing has been placed on my heart for a reason, yet there is a difference between quietly knowing something in your heart and actually walking into it.

But, I have also realized something else:

This story does not feel like the end.

Somewhere along the way, God quietly placed more books on my heart to write this year. That thought feels exciting and humbling all at once.

More than anything, my prayer remains unchanged:

That She Reached Anyway points people back to Jesus, and if you find yourself walking through uncertainty, weariness, suffering, or questions of your own, I pray this book reminds you that even when faith feels fragile, you can still reach anyway. 💛

With love,
Tabitha
